Founded in 2005, CatholicFX is a ministry of young adults passionately dedicated to bringing the message of Christ to the youth of His Church. Built around the core of a rock worship band, they present the Gospel in a dynamic way geared toward the young Church of today. Together with a team of gifted volunteers of all ages, they have led retreats, youth rallies, school events, worship and "XLT" nights, and more, using their gifts of prayer and song in the service of the Lord.
As musicians, the band blends upbeat, high-energy rock music with quiet, contemplative songs to create a dynamic and flowing worship experience that leads teens through a very powerful way to experience prayer. They also bring new contemporary worship songs and their own original music together with traditional Catholic hymns, celebrating the new and honoring the rich musical history of the Church. Whether in open worship, the liturgy, or Eucharistic adoration, CatholicFX leads with music that is both appropriate and engaging. They have gradually gained national recognition for their music and worship, and have played alongside leading Catholic musicians including Steve Angrisano and Martin Doman.
As ministers, they have led thousands of young people around the country closer to Christ through their words. Every member of CatholicFX is a capable speaker, able to speak to young people in meaningful talks couched in scripture, church teaching, and their own faith experiences. They cover a wide variety of topics, including the importance of prayer, the richness of the mass, the power of the Sacraments, the right to and respect for life, and the beauty and value of Catholic manhood and womanhood. Each talk is prayerfully prepared to speak the truth of Christ in a way that reaches and touches the young Church.
